Description

Mozart's music repeatedly brought tears to Tchaikovsky's eyes, while Prokofiev drew rather soberly from the treasure troves of the Viennese classics. Swiss saxophonist and composer Daniel Schnyder turns the wheel of history back even further. He not only mixes Handel's baroque water music with blue notes and grooves, but also artistically transforms the alphorn with its natural tones into an instrument for virtuosos. The boundaries between classical music and jazz are becoming increasingly blurred ...
